My Philosophy
Photography is a magical medium that allows moments in time to be captured and treasured for generations.  As a photographer, I love to grasp these moments in a way that not only represents a likeness, but  truly reflects the person – reflects the soul. Photography is not my full-time profession.  As a result, I limit my client base and I make sure that the amount of work I have never exceeds my potential to offer individual attention to the families I work with.   I always want the people I photograph to feel that they are my sole focus and that I’m not rushing to get on to my next gig.  When you work with me, you’ll notice that I’m very particular about the shooting conditions.  If we are doing studio shots, we can do that at any time of  the day.  But if we are shooting outdoors, the time of day and the weather conditions are critical and I won’t sacrifice your photos just to keep to a schedule.  Because this is not my main source of income, I don’t charge based on the number of prints you purchase.  Instead, I charge an hourly rate of $75 with a 2 hour minimum that includes the photo session itself as well as the time to edit the photos.  You are given all the edited digital files and can have them printed yourself or pay my cost to have them printed with the professional lab I use for all my personal prints.
