Day 187: Bursting thru

Today the sun burst thru the clouds and the snow did some serious melting. This photo was one of those right place and time moments. I looked up and saw a hole in the clouds and this tattered flag happened to be right there. The photo is really a failure because it didn't capture the depth in the clouds at the moment. Still it works and perhaps that's enough.

  • I don't think the photo is a failure, I think the flag is a failure.
Aren't they supposed to be replaced when they are that worn??? PS. I was VERY happy to see the sun yesterday, even if only for a few minutes. :)

  • I agree the flag is tattered and torn, but it still works. Everything together including the quote, really works. Of course, you know I always see something nobody else would notice, but there are "hidden angel wings" in those clouds.
