Day 191: Showgirls

Tonight we attended the Bethany 100th Anniversary Concert. It was a collection of musical talent across the years in our dear town of Bethany. It was quaint. It was nostalgic. It was long. And it was well attended because the wise planners were sure to include lots of children whose parents would have to attend to see their treasures perform.

Mine is the one wearing glasses.

  • Well, speaking as someone who attended without a single child or family member performing, I still thought it was a great show. (and yes, perhaps a little long.) :)

  • Thanks for posting a picture. Even though we are just a few miles apart, it feels like I'm back in Jacksonville, when you first set me up with a computer to make sure this Aunt was able to recognize changes and growth in your daughter. I remember that night, getting off work after midnite and going to Kinko's to rent a computer so I could see your first post of her as a newborn. How blessed were Fred and I that there was this gift of technology.
